My name is Kim Webster. I have an honors BA in English and Business Administration from the University of Guelph, Ontario, and I have worked in Performing Arts and Pharmaceutical marketing, Government communications, and as an Art College teacher.
I have twenty years of small business bookkeeping experience – both in Canada and, for the past ten years, in California. I am a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers, the Marin Bookkeepers Referral and Education Network, and the QuickBooks Pro Advisor program which enables me to stay current and connected with other professionals in the field.
As a small business owner myself (I'm a glass artist
part-time), I understand the demands and time-pressures of operating a small
business. I have done bookkeeping for film production, service industry and arts businesses both new and established. I enjoy setting up bookkeeping
systems
that work and then tracking the finances, so that you can concentrate on what you do best.
I am based in Oakland and work on-site throughout the Bay Area so your records never have to leave your
premises. I charge on an hourly or fixed rate basis depending on the needs
